East Rockingham Responds to MVA on Mill Road
JANUARY 16
- Around 9:00 pm on Saturday night the East Rockingham Fire Department was dispatched to a priority 1 MVA at the intersection of Calvert Street and Mill Road. Upon arrival it was discovered that a vehicle had made contact with a power pole severing the pole. The only occupant in the vehicle was transported to the hospital by First Health Richmond EMS. East Rockingham Responds to Priority 2 MVC
JANUARY 13
- On January 13th East Rockingham Fire Department responded to a priority 2 MVC on Mill Road and South Street. Upon arrival it was discovered that two vehicles were involved in the accident. There was only one occupant in each vehicle. First Health Richmond EMS was also dispatched but no one was transported to the hospital. JANUARY 04
- It was cold but duty called for the Boys from E-Rock. Fighting the cold weather the East Rockingham faithful responded to a vehicle that had left the road on Airport Road and Patterson Street. The occupant was still in the vehicle when Medics arrived. No one was trasported to the hospital and all units marked back in service within the hour. East Rockingham Runs Second Structure Fire in Two Days
JANUARY 02
- Saturday morning the tones were sounding for the second time in less than twelve hours for the East Rockingham Fire Department. They were being dispatched to a structure fire on Sleepy Hollow Lane. - On Saturday December 19th the East Rockingham Fire Department held its Christmas Party and Awards Banquet at the Senior Citizens Building in East Rockingham. It was a great evening with Ribeye Steaks and all the trimings being cooked by Chef John Collins and his fine staff. Chef Collins uses his sercet sauce to make his steaks one of a kind. Fireman's Children Have Christmas Party

- The members of the East Rockingham Fire Department had the Fireman's childrens party on Saturday afternoon December 19th. There were many activites planned for the children. Santa Travels to Hospital in Fire Truck

- Santa made a trip to the hospital on East Rockingham Fire department's fire truck on Saturday morning December 19th. Santa was going to pay a visit to some of the children at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital. DECEMBER 17
- On Thursday East Rockingham Fire Department was dispatched to a MVC on Broadway. Upon arrival it was discovered that there was one entrapment in the accident. The occupant had to be removeed from his vehicle by the fire departments use of their rescue tool. Once out of the vehicle the occupant was transported to the hospital.
