Dog Rescued From Structure Fire
FEBRUARY 26
- East Rockingham responded to a structure fire Friday afternoon on Battley Dairy Road. Upon arrival smoke was visable from the front and back of the structure. After entrance was made flames were found in the kitchen area. After a search was performed on the structure a small dog was removed and assisted by medics with oxygen to revive the animal. East Rockingham & Cordova Respond to Serious MVA on Highway 74 By-Pass
FEBRUARY 23
- There was two very lucky occupants in the vehicle that overturned on the By - Pass Tuesday morning in Richmond County. When units arriving on the scene saw these men walking around their vehicle there was a sense of relief. With a guardrail that looked like a war zone and a vehicle with a trailer that who only knows the direction it had traveled they were very lucky. The By-Pass was passable with ... Structure Fire on Martin McGee Road
FEBRUARY 21
- At approximately 2100hrs the tones for station 800 sounded for a structure fire. Upon arrival, smoke was seen coming from the attic vents and around the roof. Company 3 "The Dogg Pound" Profiles for the Camera
FEBRUARY 16
- Tuesday night after a four hour Haz-Mat Training session the Doggs of Company 3 had not had enough. They decided to pose for some pics from camera man and FireNews.net reporter Harold Dawkins. E Rock Responds to Snow Assisted MVA
FEBRUARY 13
- With the month starting off to a slow start, A blanket of SNOW was the reason for a MVA occuring at the interection of Forrest Street & US Highway 1. East Rockingham Responds to MVA on Mill Road
JANUARY 16
- Around 9:00 pm on Saturday night the East Rockingham Fire Department was dispatched to a priority 1 MVA at the intersection of Calvert Street and Mill Road. Upon arrival it was discovered that a vehicle had made contact with a power pole severing the pole. The only occupant in the vehicle was transported to the hospital by First Health Richmond EMS. JANUARY 13
- On January 13th East Rockingham Fire Department responded to a priority 2 MVC on Mill Road and South Street. Upon arrival it was discovered that two vehicles were involved in the accident. There was only one occupant in each vehicle. First Health Richmond EMS was also dispatched but no one was transported to the hospital. - It was cold but duty called for the Boys from E-Rock. Fighting the cold weather the East Rockingham faithful responded to a vehicle that had left the road on Airport Road and Patterson Street. The occupant was still in the vehicle when Medics arrived. No one was trasported to the hospital and all units marked back in service within the hour.
