East Rockingham Holds its 33rd Annual Christmas & Awards Party   By Web Chief Harold Dawkins December 19, 2009   On Saturday December 19th the East Rockingham Fire Department held its Christmas Party and Awards Banquet at the Senior Citizens Building in East Rockingham. It was a great evening with Ribeye Steaks and all the trimings being cooked by Chef John Collins and his fine staff. Chef Collins uses his sercet sauce to make his steaks one of a kind. After all he has been cooking for the department for many years. Saddle Creek Band did a greatt job handling the entertainment for the night. The awards that were presented were as follows. Officer of the Year : Lieut. Kevin Bowman Firemanof the Year : Randy Stubbs Chief's Award : Captain Bill Bayless & James Bailey
